The activity of field inspection for leaders was held in Liangping County, Chongqing on May 26, 2006. Mr. Matt Albrecht and Mr. Andrew Law from Canpotex, Dr. Adrian Johnston from IPNI and leaders from Agrivultural Bureau of Chongqing City and Liangping county inspected the balanced fertilizer trials. A number BFDP trials and demonstrations were inspected. Liangping county, about 200 km from Chongqing City, is the location of the IPNI project - monitored village project. In the village, long term field trials including rice-wheat rotation and corn(sweet potato)-wheat rotation have been carried out since 2001.

The effects of P and K on rice growth are highly significant (Fig. 2 and Fig. 3)
